Pastor’s Message –

Christ is Risen!

Christ is Risen, Indeed!

This was the theme of Easter Morning.  I asked that everybody recommit themselves to spreading the Good News that Christ is Risen, that our Savior Lives and that we are loved by God!  We need to follow through on Jesus’ commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves and thus become more like Him.  We are to remember what Jesus taught us – that his resurrection brought us eternal life; so I ask all of you, my dear readers, to also recommit yourselves to the Good News that:

Christ is Risen!

Christ is Risen, Indeed!

Have a blessed week!   Rev. Ed

This morning we saw quite a change in our churches.  Instead of the dull burlap and then the deathly black, our churches were both decked out in their finest whites, golds and rich brasses!  And the flowers were absolutely beautiful!  It was really a blessing to have the glory back after the long weeks of Lent.  I hope each of you were as blessed as I was to watch all the drab be removed and the brightness of the new life Jesus has offered us brought back into our churches.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box.
