On our walk. . . . . . . . . . .                                   March 25, 2007

Pastor’s Message –

Isaiah 50: 4-5

The Lord has given me the tongue of a teacher, that I may know how to sustain the weary word. Morning by morning he wakens me --- wakens my ear to listen as those are taught. The Lord has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious.

Do you hear the Lord every morning when you wake up?  Do you take time to listen to what he has to say? If you do hear him, can you be the teacher he wants you to be?  Can you reach out to those in our community who have not heard the Good News?  The Lord is looking for those who will spread the news of His sacrifice. During this Easter season let all of us invite one person to join us to hear and learn the Good News of Jesus Christ.  To hear what Christ did for us on that cross.

Hope you have a great week.  God Bless!

                                                                                       Rev. Ed

Williams held its monthly “Ladies Tea” on March 24.   It was attended by 18 ladies and a great time was had by all. We even had guests from Chicago to join us. Please watch up coming issues of the bulletin and “On Our Walk” and plan on joining us for fellowship over cups of hot tea.  Coffee and decaf will also be served.   This is a really special time for Ladies to get together, relax and chat – and eat.  Everyone who attends has a great time.

Three from Galilee: The Young Man from Nazareth
by Marjorie Holmes
The follow-up to the bestselling "Two from Galilee" presents a novelistic retelling of one of the greatest of all biblical mysteries--the so-called "lost years" of the life of Jesus.

The Nativity Story DVD, Music Cd

It was the cruelest of times. Under Herod’s torturous reign, families struggled to survive and yet, in the midst of utter turmoil, a young woman’s faith was put to the test. Mary and Joseph on an incredible journey of hope and discovery. Epic in its scope yet intimate in it’s portrayal of this historical family, the wonderful DVD is a family feature that will be cherished for years to come

Remember:

When you get to your wit’s end, you’ll find God living there.

Have a blessed week
