Pastor’s Message –

Phillipians 3:4b- 7

If anyone else has reason to be confident in the flesh, I have more; Circumcised on the eighth day, a member of the people of Isreal,of the tribe of Benjamin, A Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a prosecuterof the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless.

Yet whatever gains I had , these I have come to regard as a loss because of Jesus Christ.

Without Christ in our lives what good is all of our achievements? Paul in this reading tells us of all of his achievements. A Jew, a Pharisee, an enforcer of the law, yet he had nothing until he had Christ in his life.

This week take a look at your life. Is Christ the center of it or are your achievements and your material things the center of it. If Christ is the center than all else is of little need.  Think about where Christ is in your life. Think about where He is in the pecking order. Then Pray.

Hope you have a great week.  God Bless!

                                                                                       Rev. Ed

In the Library:

Two from Galilee: The Story of Mary and Joseph
by Marjorie Holmes
Here from Majorie Holmes, one of the most beloved authors of our day, is the extraordinary bestselling novel that tells the story of Mary and Joseph as it has never been told before--the greatest love story of all.

The Passion Of Christ  DVD

If you haven’t had a chance to see this moving movie about our Lord’s last hours I would strongly urge you to. One person told me that watching this movie was intense, but they came away with a new outlook on what Christ did for us and a better understanding of His unconditional love..

Remember:

Don’t let your worries get the best of you; remember, Moses started out as a basket case!

Have a blessed week
