...to share the abundance of what we have with those around us.  The final months of the year are dominated by Thanksgiving and Christmas, which makes this an excellent time for us to share from the abundance of what God has given us.

Angel Tree and Salvation Army Food Collection: Food          Collections for the Salvation Army Christmas Food Baskets and Angels (Christmas gift requests for children who would otherwise not have much for Christmas) need to be returned today.

December 11th: Sorting and boxing up food for the Salvation Army Food Baskets at the BB&T in Kenbridge.  Talk with Brenda Barnes if you have any questions.

Is God Calling you to Minister to Others?

As part of our Labor of Love initiative, we will be beginning a Lay Ministers program which will be pairing up a trained lay minister from within the congregation with 3-5 individuals in the church or community who would like to have someone to talk and pray with them on a regular basis.  We will begin training Lay Ministers at the beginning of 2011, so please consider if God is calling you to be a part of our Lay Ministers team.  If you are considering it, please talk with Pastor Andrew, and he will give you more information.

Community Christmas Concert Tonight!
