‘tis the Season

...to share the abundance of what we have with those around us.  The final months of the year are dominated by Thanksgiving and Christmas, which makes this an excellent time for us to share from the abundance of what God has given us.

Throughout November: Food Collections for the Salvation Army Christmas Food Baskets.  Bring in food before December 5th.

December 11th: Sorting and boxing up food for the Salvation Army Food Baskets at the BB&T in Kenbridge.

Throughout December: Angel Tree!  Angels (Christmas gifts    requests for children who would otherwise not have much for Christmas) will be available soon.  If you have any questions about the Angel Tree, please talk with Dawn Bacon.

Senior Luncheon

We will be gathering together on November 17th to share in a great time of food and fellowship.  Everyone is welcome, so invite your friends and come join us as we celebrate the season together!

Fuel Assistance

Do you or someone you know need assistance with the cost of fuel this winter?   Applications for Fuel Assistance from the Virginia Department of Social Services' Energy Assistance Program are  being accepted now through Friday, November 12.  Talk with    Pastor Andrew if you would like to apply but need some help!

Williams Stew and Yard Sale

Come by the Tanner’s home on Saturday, November 13th to buy some stew and support the Williams Church yard sale!  The Tanners live just off 138 as you head towards South Hill (look for the signs).  We will hope to see you there!

Are you a sewer?

If you are a sewer and are interested in using your skills to help create a banner for Advent, please talk with Pastor Andrew!
